Hi, my name is Denise Salvona. I would like to welcome you to ‘Buttons’n’Bows’. Custom manufacturers of reproduction vintage clothing. The style and glamour of the  30's , 40's, and 50's, from dresses and gowns to suits and skirts.

I am an amateur dance fanatic who was fed up going round the high street looking for unusual clothes suitable for the various era’s of dance I do, being a keen seamstress, I decided to reproduce my own vintage clothing. Friends were impressed and a large number of them asked for various items to be made. It was then my business started. Being totally enthralled by the music and clothes of the 1930's -1950’s I decided to focus my attention on making the clothes available at those times but still make some dance wear if asked.

At Buttons ‘n’ Bows we now specialise in reproducing women’s reproduction vintage clothing from the 1930,1940 and 1950 era’s.

All our clothing is reproduction vintage. Whilst we try to create the authentic style of designs from the 1930’s - 1950’s by using, often, original patterns, authentic styled fabrics, buttons and colours, modern day sewing techniques are used. Every item is handmade with great care to give the customer as authentic a looking garment as possible.

We primarily sell ready made garments that have been adapted from mostly original patterns to fit the modern day figure but can make all the clothes advertised to your personal measurements.
